Here are the Logos as submitted to the First Night Escondido committee.

click on the image to see a larger version. In the end, it was decided to omit the border from the design in order to keep it as large as possible on the smaller pieces.

This logo incorporates a great deal of what makes Escondido a unique and exciting community. At left is the new "multiplex" movie theatre that opened in 2004. Also featured is the Center for the Perfoming arts and the distinctly original City Hall building.

The committe was very enthusiastic about the artwork and was thrilled to have a design that actually represented some of the sites that are so familiar to Escondido residents and business professionals. "As a resident, and Escondido business owner, I am honored to be a part of something that presents the city I have grown to love in such a positive light." said David. "This event is a great family-oriented evening that is truly one-of-a kind"
